cool! All excellent observations. I know many a person who came unstuck in the pursuit of certainty. It's because our culture tries to make a certainty out of itself. In eastern culture I think the idea of impermanence is more established and therefore people are better able to deal with uncertainty and change.

ReplyDeleteChange is the only way we can get from one moment to the next, and yet much of our culture is built in response to, and as a result of, the search for certainty. It's quite absurd, really! ;)
True amazing how many people fight desperately against change, against the inevitable. Causes allot of suffering in my opinion.
